Terms of use
By using Herezon you agree to these terms. They are deliberately short; if anything is unclear, write to info@herezon.app.
1. Who provides the service
Herezon is operated by Emrah Yıldız - Proyo Soft, a sole proprietorship registered in Türkiye (Alemdağ Tax Office, tax no. 9610936109). Contact: info@herezon.app, +90 552 140 40 88.
2. Your account
- You need a valid email address and a username to create an account.
- You may not use Herezon if you are under 13.
- You are responsible for your account's security and for what is posted from it.
- You can delete your account permanently from inside the app at any time.
3. What you post stays yours
You own the photos and videos you post. You are not transferring them to us.
To make the service work, you do grant us a limited permission: a worldwide, royalty-free, non-transferable licence to display, store, reproduce and technically process your content within Herezon — resizing it, generating previews, hosting it on our servers. This permission exists only to operate the app. It does not allow us to use your content in advertising, sell it to third parties, or publish it outside Herezon.
The permission ends when you delete the content. Complete removal from backups may take a short while.
You confirm that you hold the rights to everything you post: you may not post someone else's photo, video or copyrighted work without permission.
4. Content rules
The following are prohibited and are removed when found:
- Hate speech, harassment, threats, or content targeting an individual.
- Sexual or obscene content, and any material that exploits children.
- Violence, self-harm, or content encouraging either.
- Illegal activity, drug or weapon trade.
- Spam, misleading content, faked locations.
- Other people's private information, or images taken in private spaces without consent.
- Content infringing copyright or trademarks.
We have zero tolerance for abusive behaviour. We may remove content that breaks these rules and suspend the account behind it without prior notice.
5. Reporting and blocking
Every post and comment can be reported from its menu, under six categories. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours and content that breaks the rules is removed.
You can block any user from the same menu. Blocking is two-way: their posts and comments disappear for you, and yours for them. Blocks can be lifted under Settings → Blocked users.
6. Location and the visibility of your posts
Herezon is a location-based app. When you share a post, that post's location is visible to the people who can see it. Keep that in mind before posting: if you would rather not reveal where you are — your home, for instance — do not post from there.
7. The service itself
Herezon is provided "as is". We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, limit or discontinue features. Significant changes are announced in the app.
The app shows Google AdMob advertising. Advertisers are responsible for the content of their ads.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from your use of Herezon. Users are responsible for the content they post.
9. Suspension
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If your account is suspended you can appeal by writing to info@herezon.app.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of İstanbul Anadolu have jurisdiction. Consumer rights under applicable law are unaffected.
11. Changes
If we update these terms the date above changes; significant changes are also announced in the app.
